This artwork encapsulates the notion that the world, perceived as 'reality' by our eyes, is in truth a mere illusion, a virtual image, with the boundary between these two realms harboring mystery and beauty. The ancient philosopher Plato depicted humans as prisoners confined in a cave, mistaking shadows cast by the world of ideas, illuminated by shafts of sunlight, for reality. However, what truly matters is not the truth itself, but the hope people hold onto, their zest for life, their sorrows, and even their follies. For God embraces all humanity, bestowing his love equally and justly.
