Others serve as a reflection for you, just as you are a reflection for them. The emotions you feel towards others often echo the sentiments they hold for you, with these feelings being subconsciously perceived with a keen sense. If principles of various forms of communication are established based on the rules of this mirror-like relationship, it might be posited that the act of loving others is a manifestation of self-love. To love others, it is necessary to first love oneself, forgiving even those parts of ourselves we find unlovable. The love discovered beyond this internal struggle is a gift endowed to every individual. This is because each of us is born with an innate omniscience.

他者は自分の鏡であり、自分は他者の鏡です。自分が相手に抱いている感情は、相手が自分に対し抱いている感情であり、人間は無意識下で鋭敏にそれらを感じ取っています。あらゆるコミュニケーションの在り方が、この鏡の法則の上に成り立っているとするならば、他者を愛することは即ち、自己愛の變形であると言えるかもしれません。他者を愛するにはまず自分自身を愛し、愛せない自分自身をも赦さなければならず、その苦悩の果てにある愛こそが、全ての人々に与えられたギフトなのです。私たちは皆、生まれながらに全知の存在であったのですから。
