It is my fervent prayer that nations cease their rivalries and unite in solidarity; that they collectively renounce their arms; that they demonstrate civilization to be the fruition of equality, harmony, and peace; that they honor the sanctity of each other’s existence, relinquishing all trepidation and skepticism; and that they value the preciousness of life above all contests and balances.

国同士で競い合うのをやめ手を取り合うことを、武器を一斉に廃棄することを、文明が平等と均衡と和平の賜物であると証明することを、お互いの存在を尊重し一切の恐れや疑いを手放すことを、そしてかけがえのない命を天秤から下ろすことを、せめてこの両の手を合わせ一心に祈ります。
