Cultivating International Bonds Through Art for a Prosperous Future

I am fully committed to spreading joy worldwide through art, fostering the development of culture and the arts, and deepening the bonds between people across borders. A solo exhibition is scheduled for this autumn in Matera, Italy. Having participated in numerous exhibitions and received international art awards, I earnestly seek your support to continue my artistic endeavors and expand the circle of happiness globally.

• Campaign Period: March 15 (Friday) – May 7 (Tuesday)
• Platform: CAMPFIRE
• Exhibition Organizer: Dr. Carmela Loiacono / ApuliaAste

About This Art Project
A Prayer Entrusted from One Person to Another

Starting March 15 (Friday), I launched a crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE to support the solo exhibition in Matera, Italy, and to promote global cultural and artistic development. I sincerely hope that the small light born from this project will weave bonds of “harmony” among people and eventually spread as a great beam of light into the distant future. If any part of this resonates with you, I would be grateful for your consideration of support.
In this project, I poured my heart and soul into expressing my “passion for art” and “what I wish to entrust to the future through the exhibition.” I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to ensure your satisfaction, putting significant thought and effort especially into preparing the return gifts. With little time to consider profits, I have prepared them at the most appreciative prices possible.
I promise that your support will contribute to the development of culture and the arts through my artistic activities. It will serve as a crucial foundation for connecting hearts across borders, building a future filled with peace and hope that cannot be achieved by individual effort alone.
Request for Sharing
Your support leads to contributions in the development of culture and the arts through artistic activities. It connects the hearts of people worldwide and becomes a vital cornerstone in building a future filled with peace and hope, unattainable by individual effort alone. If you sympathize with the philosophy of this project, I would be grateful if you could share it with those who might be interested.
A Bridge to a Bright Future
Promoting Culture and the Arts and Fostering Bonds Beyond Borders

I believe in the power of art and aim to make a positive impact on society. Through exhibitions and various art activities worldwide—in Milan, Venice, and Matera in Italy, as well as in Spain and the UK—I strive to promote culture and the arts and deepen exchanges among people across borders.
Along the way, I have had opportunities to donate to European art museums, contribute art yearbooks to national libraries, and donate works to art galleries. I have also received numerous international art awards. Particularly, the “Harmony for Humanity” award recognized my activities as promoting harmony and empathy in the international community. I hope that these blessings can contribute, even slightly, to the preservation and development of world culture and art.
To spread the valuable connections and ripple effects of happiness born from artistic activities to the world, I sincerely ask for your support. Your assistance will act as a bridge connecting hearts across borders through art. It will become an irreplaceable foundation in forming an equal global community and creating a bright and spiritually rich future.

Encounter with the RenovArt Project

In the spring of 2022, I encountered the RenovArt project through my initial participation in the “RenovArt: 100 Artists for the Future” exhibition. My work was recognized by Italian art historian Dr. Carmela Loiacono, who invited me to exhibit.
The works of the artists participating in the RenovArt exhibition were all heartwarming, evoking thoughts of the soul’s homeland. The selection process for my work was particularly impressive, as it felt as if my innermost thoughts and even my soul were being seen through.
When asked about my experiences in international exhibitions, I always talk about the RenovArt exhibition. This is because every exhibited work carries the intent to pass on art as a heritage of humanity to the future, along with prayers for peace. I believe this is the essential role of art.

Decision to Hold a Solo Exhibition in Matera, Italy

After the initial success of the RenovArt exhibition, I received warm encores from the people of Matera, and a special booth was set up for me in the subsequent exhibition. I still remember the gratitude I felt at that time. After exhibiting my works in several more RenovArt exhibitions, the decision was finally made to hold a solo exhibition.

What I Wish to Convey to the Future Through the Solo Exhibition

Through participating in the RenovArt exhibitions and numerous exchanges with Dr. Loiacono, I realized that this solo exhibition plays an important role in the project. It made me deeply reflect on the destiny and fate that each person carries.
I will continue to strive diligently, expressing in new works what I can leave for future generations, and approach the solo exhibition with this intent. I will create works that light up people’s hearts and expand that circle of light from Matera to the world. I believe this solo exhibition is the starting line to bless the future.
I promise that your support through crowdfunding will never be wasted. I will contribute to the development of culture and the arts through my activities and deliver light of purification and happiness to the world.
The Mission of Art and the Endless Journey
Repeated Postponements of the Solo Exhibition Due to Global Circumstances

Preparing for a solo exhibition requires various expenses, including setting up the venue, promotion, and catalog production. Initially scheduled for autumn 2022, the exhibition has been postponed multiple times due to global circumstances.
For 11 years, I have been running a smartphone app business (App Store | Google Play), which has been the foundation for creating many art pieces. Competing solo in a market called a “red ocean” against numerous global companies, I have consistently maintained top rankings. My smartphone apps have surpassed 50 million downloads worldwide, thanks entirely to the support of our users. This business has been indispensable for continuing my artistic activities.
However, as most of the business revenue comes from overseas, it was difficult to avoid the impact of the global recession. I needed to work tirelessly day and night to improve our services. Feeling firsthand how the statistics from various countries vividly reflect the plight of people worldwide, I seriously contemplated what I could do for this wounded world and took immediate action on any insights I gained. Simultaneously, I engaged more proactively in artistic activities, hoping to deliver the unique beauty of each country as entertainment through participation in international exhibitions.
In the autumn of 2019, blessed with divine inspiration, I continued to imbue my works with a message of hope that “the world will be reborn into its ideal form through a gradual process,” expressing the complete images obtained from inspiration. During creation, my consciousness spanned past, present, future, and even extra dimensions, recording in my works as if overlooking the turning points of millennial cycles. The pandemic led to paralysis in distribution, teaching people the importance of local communities and not destroying other ecosystems. In the next process, we welcomed a quiet season of budding. However, amidst the chaos for regeneration, I felt particularly distressed.
Around that time, the business supporting my artistic activities was forced to withdraw from Russia, and we could not escape the impact of the global depression in other areas as well. Difficulties in air shipping artworks and the depreciation of the yen leading to a strong euro compounded the situation, resulting in another postponement of the solo exhibition. However, I earnestly hope to realize the exhibition in a wonderful form this autumn and meet the people of Matera who once embraced my works.
The True Power of Art

While continuing to strive day and night to improve our services, I have been engaging more proactively in artistic activities. Believing that art manifests its true power especially in times of crisis, I have been involved, albeit modestly, in activities that enrich people’s hearts through participation in international exhibitions.
Seriously considering the role of art in the world, I submitted works and papers to design awards themed on peace and realized donation activities to European art museums through the operating organizations. The following year, a work advocating the preciousness of life received the “Golden Design Award.”
I believe that even if individual power is small, when united, art can wield significant influence on society.
Epilogue
Precious Connections Woven by Art

Those I have met through my artistic activities have been truly compassionate and kind-hearted people. Each time I received an international art award, I was always showered with words of blessing. Despite differences in race and language, there were shared expressions and mutual understanding.
In an era undergoing significant transformation and acceleration in all matters, few people are free from facing difficulties. Even in such times, I was able to meet beautiful-hearted individuals who could offer words of blessing to others. These connections are treasures born from my artistic activities.
Going forward, I will continue to create works that fill the hearts of viewers with their innate brilliance and give back to the world. I cherish the precious connections made through crowdfunding and look forward to the day we can meet.
An Unconditional Light That Illuminates All

People’s irreplaceable daily lives are filled with colorful lights of gratitude. While continuing exchanges with Dr. Loiacono in preparation for the solo exhibition, I received many lessons and empowering words.
“Each of us has a mission and life goal, and perhaps God is teaching us what we were born to do. I expect that in the future, you will fulfill your mission in the field of art. You have talent, and you must realize it in your works.”
I realized that various difficulties are important messages leading to nirvana, and the answer is always “unconditional compassion and blessing.” No matter how challenging the current times may be for people worldwide, I now firmly believe that humans can rise valiantly time and again.

The RenovArt Project, conceived and progressed by Dr. Carmela Loiacono, has spread the power of art to society through various exhibitions. Below is a list of exhibitions in which I have participated.

RenovArt | Shapes of Nature

In collaboration with K-Art International, ApuliaAste hosted the “Shapes of Nature” exhibition curated by art historian Dr. Carmela Loiacono at the Spazio Opera Gallery in Matera, Italy, from June 1 to 30, 2023.
“In all things of nature, there is something marvelous.”
— Aristotle
Nature is a source of inspiration for artists and offers opportunities for introspection about coexistence with humanity. Understanding nature leads to the exploration of new worlds and realities, sublimating individuals to higher states of existence.
This exhibition aimed to create a new bond between art and nature, providing a space where each artist can elevate themselves and express freely and unconditionally.

RenovArt | Panta Rhei

In collaboration with MaterAcqua, ApuliaAste hosted the group exhibition “Panta Rhei,” curated by art historian Dr. Carmela Loiacono, in Matera, Italy, from May 8 to 26, 2023.
“Everything flows. We are always the same, yet constantly changing.”
Existence may appear the same at first glance, but influenced by time, it changes anew, engaging in a continuous process of evolution like a river. Artists reflect on themselves and their life experiences, exploring how life changes and evolves through dreams, desires, choices, and decisions.
“Panta Rhei” is part of the curatorial project “RenovArt | 100 Artists for the Future,” dedicated to the world’s greatest artistic talents, born from a strong desire for a new regeneration of international art. It symbolizes renewal, development, and regeneration, encouraging international artists to deepen their knowledge of contemporary art and enhance their artistic skills.

RenovArt | Flowing Identities at Spazio Opera Gallery

This exhibition delved deeper into the fluidity of identity and the diversity of art. It was a particularly meaningful exhibition for me, and I was deeply moved to hear from viewers that even a single exhibition scene conveyed a message of peace.

RenovArt | Flowing Identities

This exhibition focused on the theme of life’s fluidity and “water” as the root of existence, akin to the flow of a river. The ability to adapt, accept, and shape forms like water symbolizes how daily life experiences characterize human personalities. This exhibition provided a broader and more fluid perspective on the world of contemporary art, allowing for an understanding of each aspect of artistic works.

RenovArt | 100 Artists for the Future (July 2022 | November 2022)

These exhibitions, curated and managed by art historian Dr. Carmela Loiacono, provided opportunities for development and encouragement to international artists. Born from a strong desire for a new regeneration in the art field, they symbolize innovation and development in culture and the arts, as well as encouragement for domestic and international artists.
Works Exhibited in the RenovArt Project
Kuan Yin Bodhisattva / 救世菩薩, December 2020. Digital Media and Photo Collage, 41 x 57 cm.

Description
This artwork was created as a devout prayer to Kannon Bodhisattva, seeking peace for the hearts of humanity. Buddhism exists in a realm that transcends both philosophy and science, where deities and Buddhas exist beyond time and space. Rather than merely being imbued with prayer, this piece was crafted from a single pure intention—a fervent wish for the Bodhisattva to manifest in our world.
Karma / 業, September 2021. Digital Media and Photo Collage, 40 x 56 cm.

Description
While feeling the unbearable weight of the depth of human karma, the vastness of daily learning, and the burdens we have shouldered ourselves, we fix our gaze only on the darkness at our feet and simply move forward, one step at a time.
Avatar / 化身, September 2021. Digital Media and Photo Collage, 71 x 115 cm.

Description
Before we are born into this world, the paths our souls take over the course of our lifetimes are pre-determined. Every living being is an incarnation of God—a fragment of the divine—and all lives are equal. We are intrinsically omniscient beings, but in order to nurture our souls, we must live by the rules of this three-dimensional world. If you find yourself faced with a challenge, remember: you are a sacred and irreplaceable presence, equal in divinity.
A Regenerated World / 新世界, May 2020. Digital Media and Photo Collage, 71 x 116 cm.

Description
This artwork embodies hope for a new era. As the world rapidly evolves and undergoes transformations, it reveals various facets in both its processes and outcomes. The transition to this new age may evoke feelings of anxiety, confusion, anticipation, and tranquility. All these emotions are embedded within the design of this piece.
Distance / 心, April 2020. Digital Media and Photo Collage, 89 x 122 cm.

Description
This artwork expresses the importance of thinking about everyone, not just oneself, in the face of the current complex world situation where predicting the end point is difficult.
Using the example of multidimensional arrays in programming, it illustrates that complex structures become manageable once understood. However, as the world enters a once-in-a-millennium major turning point, the artist questions whether being confined to individual frameworks and feeling separation between self and others hinders higher understanding.
Advancing to the next stage requires us to care for others as we do for ourselves. The artist questions whether what we call the “heart” is truly the genuine heart or merely a cage called “spirit” that functions to protect the ego.
Despite being in a stage of “separation,” wearing masks and distancing ourselves, there exists a cycle where enclosed spaces are opened, and separation eventually leads to unity.
While deeply saddened by the daily number of lives lost worldwide, the artist believes this is a process occurring to transform the world for the better, and holds firm faith that a day will come when we can look back and recognize these times as an important phase.
Love is always beyond the self.
Peace / 平和, June 2020. Digital Media and Photo Collage, 100 x 120 cm.

Description
The Japanese title of this artwork is "Peace," and as the title suggests, it was created with a wish for peace. All human beings are equal, and all lives have value. Regardless of country, language, skin color, or wealth, all lives are sacred, precious, and irreplaceable. Whether one is a great scholar or a sinner, good or bad, all are born into this world equally blessed by God. There is not a single life in this world that has been lost in vain.
Alaya-vijnana
The following are fragmented notes extracted from the original text during the creation process of the art project. While they are merely insights occasionally gained during artistic activities, I hope you can enjoy them as an extra feature.
Homeland of the Soul

Suffering changes its form and surrounds people’s hearts. However, these are mere illusions born from the excessive workings of the ego’s defense mechanisms; all phenomena reflected in our eyes are nothing but shadows. Moreover, what the ego desperately protects is not the beautifully shining soul but mere “nothingness”—there is no one and nothing exists there.
Therefore, the source of souls is one, sometimes called “God.” In other words, each person is a beloved being, all people are equal, and in this quantum field, I realized at the brink of despair that concepts like good and evil, right and wrong, beauty and ugliness cannot inherently exist.

Silver Spoon

An artist is destined to integrate and convey all seemingly contradictory elements into one teaching. God randomly selects people and assigns them roles. To express just one “love,” they do not hesitate to sacrifice their bodies and even offer their hearts as oblations.
Everyone equally possesses inherent talents, which might be the silver spoon given by the beings watching over us from the soul’s homeland. The morning after this project was completed, I suddenly thought so and gazed at the sky.

The Road Leading to the Sea

From behind the path leading to the sea at night, I heard nothing but the roaring torrent of a muddy river and eventually saw thunder rumbling on the horizon of the stormy sea. I immediately turned back and, along the way, gained inspiration for many works. These included “Consecration,” “Apostle,” “Setting Sun,” “Devil’s Proof,” “Unannounced,” and others. The themes and complete images were predetermined, and I strongly resolved to materialize each as works.

Prayers for Peace and Celebrating the Beauty of Existence

The “prayer” embedded in my works is a light to the world, and the purpose of creation is the “purification” of society. If I can, through my works, support people in celebrating their very existence and recalling their innate brilliance, I believe everyone will begin to illuminate the world like the sun as equally special beings. There will be no discrimination, disparity, or conflict; a true civilized society will unfold where all thoughts and ideals are celebrated, and even opposing values are respected.

As a Person, As a Parent
The Strong Back I Wanted My Beloved Daughter to See

Even during continued hardships, my wife supported my artistic activities. When I received the offer for the solo exhibition during a time when the world was engulfed in the chaos of war, she gladly agreed. She was the happiest when I first received an international art award and when I was featured in a global art magazine.
Inevitably affected by global circumstances and to revive a business that had begun to falter, I worked without rest from dawn to dusk, dedicating nights and weekends after work to artistic activities. Feeling somewhat guilty during those times, I told my wife, “I’m sorry,” to which she replied, “This is also your work. I’m sure everyone around you will be happy.” I still remember those words. My works first reached someone in France and then began to spread worldwide.
Even after that, I endeavored to balance work and artistic activities, but years of sleep deprivation took their toll, and my body began to protest in the form of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Suffering from sleep deprivation, adjustment disorders, depression, and liver dysfunction, I continued to struggle. Still, I always pleaded with my wife, “I want to create new works.” Even when I was about to give up the most important artistic activities, it was my wife who pushed me forward, saying, “I’m sure you can create again! You have your solo exhibition!”
Looking back, my first exhibition was in Milan, Italy. Despite being in her last month of pregnancy, my wife said, “Someday this will make our child proud.” Our daughter was safely born via cesarean section just as participation in the RenovArt exhibition was decided. When I first met my daughter, I was so overwhelmed with joy and tears that I couldn’t hear the nurse’s voice.
Before she was born, when we learned we were expecting, I was genuinely happy and wished only for her safe arrival. Unaware of the many trials that awaited us afterward, that tiny life was an indescribably great hope. In the summer of 2021, when I first received the offer to be featured in the global art magazine 365 Art+ Magazine, I eagerly responded to the interview. Its content touched on what I wanted to convey to future generations and the new life that was about to be born. The magazine’s cover featured the impressive tagline “A World to Show to Babies.”
However, the physical and mental fatigue from overwork and sleep deprivation gradually worsened, leading to adjustment disorders, depression, and liver dysfunction. I underwent two gastroscopic examinations and was hospitalized. I remember suddenly sobbing in front of my father, who came to pick me up, saying, “My child is truly adorable, but I want to be the best in the world.” I found myself unable to look directly at the gracious certificates, trophies that continued to accumulate, and even the smile of my precious child.
In truth, I intended to show my daughter the strong back of her father.
